Timely & Effective Feedback Feedback, and the manner in which it is given, is crucial to student’s learning. This session includes discussion of the psychological impact of both negative and positive criticism; the use and application of grading policies in feedback; and suggestions as to when and how to use praise and honesty to further enable students in their development of understanding, skills, and self-awareness. Spaces available: 6 Instructional Skills Workshop Activities include: writing instructional objectives, developing a lesson plan, and evaluating and strengthening teaching skills. Each instructor will conduct a 15 minute "mini lesson" on which they will receive constructive feedback.
